This privacy policy explains how Encliptic (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit this website or get in touch with us. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
Encliptic provides virtual tours, digital twins and interactive digital experiences. We are based in Brighton, United Kingdom. For any privacy-related questions, or to exercise your data rights, contact us at hello@encliptic.co.uk. For the purposes of data protection law, Encliptic is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
What personal data we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to give us, and limited technical data needed to run the website securely.
- Enquiry details you submit through our contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number, industry, number of locations, preferred contact method and any project details you include.
- Communications you send us by email or phone.
- Technical and security data such as your IP address and basic server logs, which our hosting provider records to keep the site secure and available.
How and why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation or demo, and provide the information you have requested.
- To provide, quote for and manage our services where you become a client.
- To maintain the security, integrity and performance of this website.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful bases
We rely on the following lawful bases under the UK GDPR: consent (when you submit an enquiry and ask us to contact you); legitimate interests (responding to enquiries, running and securing our website and business); contract (taking steps at your request before entering into, or performing, a contract); and legal obligation (where the law requires us to keep certain records).
Cookies and analytics
This website is built to use as few cookies as possible. WordPress may set essential cookies if you log in to the administration area; ordinary visitors are not required to log in. This site loads the Montserrat and Inter fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers and Google may receive your IP address as part of that request. If we add website analytics or marketing tools in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, including our website hosting provider (one.com) and our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may also disclose data where required by law.
International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection, for example through UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to deal with your request and for our legitimate business records, after which it is securely deleted. If you become a client, we keep relevant records for the duration of our relationship and for any period required by law (for example, for tax and accounting purposes).
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your personal data; to have inaccurate data corrected; to request erasure; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@encliptic.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
How to complain
If you have concerns about how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
This policy is provided as a starting template and should be reviewed to confirm it reflects your actual data practices. It is not legal advice.
